El jurado de los premios de innovación en la feria Kind+Jügend, la más prestigiosa de Europa en el campo de la puericultura, ha fallado los premios en esta edición de 2017.
En la categoria de movilidad, el premio ha ido a Heetee Baby Company por el carro de bebés con sistema de carga eléctrica para calefacción de asiento y biberón, así como para cargar móviles y tablets.
Un proyecto donde Innoarea Design Consulting y Discoh colaboraron en el concept design con el equipo de Heetee Baby.
Un premio, sin duda merecido, al esfuerzo y empuje de su promotor Samuel García.

Presentamos los productos premiados en la edicióin de este año que corresponden a un criterio común de funcionalidad. Todos ellos aportan soluciones prácticas que permiten plegar el producto, dar una segunda utilidad, solucionar problemas cotodianos con un uso inteligente y amigable de la tecnología. Buenos ejemplos del diseño para solucionar problemas, no para crearlos.
We introduce the awarded products in this 2014 edition that follow a common criteria of optimized functionality: folding products, second use, solutions for everyday life problems, and an intelligent and friendly use of technology. Good samples of design to solve problems not to create them.

Kind+Jugend Press office
First place in the category 'World of Moving Baby' went to the extraordinary Six Seater pram of the Belgian company Childhome - Aerts NV. The pram offers room for six children at once and is excellent for day care centres, child minders and families with special demands. The jury positively noted that in spite of its size, the pram is user-friendly, manoeuvrable and can be folded together.

Doona, a combination between a baby carrier for the car and a pram, presented by Simple Parenting, a manufacturer from Hong Kong, asserted itself in the category 'World of Travelling Baby'. The jury was impressed by the product's highest functionality, making it especially suitable for a quick trip to the shops. Furthermore, the innovative approach of combining two basic pieces of equipment into one product was decisive for being awarded first prize. 

The winner in the category 'World of Moving Baby &Travelling Baby Accessories' was the multifunctional suit Ergo Pouch by the Australian manufacturer of the same name. Thanks to the intelligent implementation of zips, a sleeping bag can be turned into a romper suit at the flick of a wrist. The judges underlined that the universal application of the Ergo Pouch, which fits inside every baby carrier, every pram and every car seat, was a further reason for their decision. 

The 0 Emission Camera of the French company Babymoov convinced the jury in the category 'World of Baby Safety at Home'. The innovative approach of developing a baby monitoring device that works completely without electro-magnetic waves was the reason why the jury members voted for this product. 

The baby toy, Tiny Love Double Sided Crib Toy, by the Dutch company, Dorel Europe, was able to secure first prize in the category 'World of Baby Toys'. Crib Toy is multifunctional, serving as a toy during the day and as a sleeping aid in the evening. Sitting in its crib, the baby can discover different shapes and sounds in a playful way. Crib Toy features numerous lullabies for the evening. The long usage period of 0-12 months also convinced the jury.

The Shoeps elastic laces of the Dutch manufacturer Miyali triumphed in the category 'World of Baby Textiles, Clothing and Accessories'. The jury found the easy-to-handle shoe lace substitute made of plastic to be a convincing practical solution for children being able to put on their shoes themselves without the help of their parents. 

Safe and easy-to-use - that was the jury's reason for voting this product as the winner in the category 'World of Baby Care'. The baby bath Aquanest by the French manufacturer Babymoov features a patented heating system, which keeps the temperature of the water in the bath constant for over ten minutes. The risk of the baby getting too cold while being bathed is thus considerably reduced. 

The baby mat Pili Mat by the French company BabyToLove took first place in the category 'World of Baby Furniture'. The play mat convinced the jury in several aspects: In addition to the warm-insulating properties of the material and its attractive design, above all the safety aspect was decisive. The edges of the mat can be folded up to create a protective area for the baby.

El mejor diseño para niños en Kind+Jugend 2013. The best design for children at Kind+Jugend 2013

Año tras año la feria Kind+Jugend está poniendo en valor el trabajo discreto de diseñadores y jóvenes emprendedores como una apuesta de futuro para los jóvenes, para las empresas y para el sector. En un sector donde, como en todos los sectores, operan grandes empresas, con grandes márgenes, para un mercado que está sobredimensionado de oferta, los pequeños nichos son la oportunidad de pequeñas empresas. Así este año podemos encontrar una selección del mejor diseño para niños en la exposición de KidsroomZOOM, Afilii y los propios premios de innovación.

Los premios de innovación en la feria de equipamiento infantil de Colonia. Ideas innovadoras, tecnología de vanguardia, altos niveles de funcionalidad o un diseño extraordinario han sido los criterios argumentados para tomar las decisiones de los miembros del jurado internacional, independiente y especializado que van desde profesionales de esta industria, periodistas y expertos en seguridad. Este año se han presentado 145 empresas de 24 países con un total de 183 productos en ocho categorías.

Design for kids: Kind + Jugend Innovation Awards 2013 presented

For the ninth time, the Kind + Jugend Innovation Awards for the best products of the year for babies and toddlers were presented at the start of Kind + Jugend 2013. A particularly innovative idea, outstanding technology, high level of functionality or extraordinary design were again the most important criteria for the decisions of the international and independent specialist jury consisting of industry professionals, trade journalists and safety experts. This year, 145 companies from 24 countries put forward a total of 183 products for the coveted winner's seal in eight categories.

The winners of the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award 2013 at a glance:
In the category 'World of Moving Baby', the Greentom Upp buggy by Dutch manufacturer Greentom Operations B.V. secured first place. The decisive factor for the jury's decision was the buggy's sustainable production process. The Greentom Upp consists entirely of recycled plastic and can thus simply be recycled again. The buggy is constructed in just three minutes and from only four materials, without the use of screws or bolts. As a result, the
Greentom Upp can be produced locally without importing additional components and sold at the same price in every country.

En la categoría de movilidad infantil ha ganado el carrito Greentom Upp por su carácter de diseño universal. Está hecho enteramente de plástico reciclado y puede reciclarse otra vez. El carro se construye en tres minutos, en cuatro materiales sin el uso de tornillos o tuercas. Además se puede producir localmente sin importar componentes adicionales y se puede vender al mismo precio en todos los países.

Mingo es el juguete multifuncional hecho por Educational Toy Design de Austria que ha ganado en la categoría de "El mundo de los juguetes" . El jurado quedó impresionado por las diversas posibilidades de construcción que estimulan las habilidades creativas y de psicomotricidad fina. Desde un coche, un scooter, un caballo o una silla son algunos de los múltiples modelos que se pueden construir.
The Mingo multi-functional toy by Educational Toy Design GmbH from Austria won the award in the category 'World of Baby Toys'. The jury was impressed by the diverse construction possibilities, which stimulate children's creativity and fine motor skills. Whether car, scooter, horse or chair - just six components can be used to create numerous modes of transport and various pieces of seating furniture.

En la categoría "el mundo del mueble" la trona Evolu del fabricante belga Childhome ha sido la premiada. La silla se caracteriza por su alta funcionalidad en tres posiciones para las distintos requerimientos de los niños. El diseño fue otra de las razones del voto, tal y como ocurrió en la edición de 2011. Ver premios 2011,
In the category 'World of Baby Furniture', the Evolu highchair from Belgian manufacturer Childhome - Aerts NV came out on top. The chair is characterized by its high level of functionality. The seat height can be adjusted to three different positions in just a few simple steps and adapted to the child's changing requirements. The trendy design was another reason for the jury's vote, as it happened in the prize edition in 2011. See prizes in 2011.

Otros diseños interesantes como el orinal  de la marca Rotho y el patin de Quinny 

Sin duda, de las acciones novedosas de la feria, ha sido la creación de espacios para nuevos diseñadores. El primero de ellos con el nombre de KidsroomZOOM, organizada por la empresa de Milán unduestrella, presentaba una relación de objetos de diseño en los que han participado unos 40 diseñadores internacionales, algunos de los cuales se presentaban por primera vez en Alemania. Como representación española el estudio Menut de Maria Baldó y David Ortega. Es digno de resaltar que los proyectos seleccionados en esta sección están en producción basicamente gestionados por los propios diseñadores. De nuevo la autoedición como salida al nuevo diseño y como forma de aflorar la innovación más fresca.
Without doubt, one of the most innovative initiatives of the fair has been the creation of new spaces for designers. as the Designpark 'kidsroomZOOM!ʼ. At Kind + Jugend, design initiative 'kidsroomZOOM!' presents selected design objects, some of which are appearing in Germany for the first time. 'kidsroomZOOM!' is curated by 'unduetrestella' (Milan ). Altogether, around 40 international designers are participating in the new exhibition format. As spanish representation we founded studio Menut of Maria Baldó and David Ortega. It is convenient to underline that the projects selected are produced basicaly by the own designers. Again selfproduction seems an exit for the new design and fresh innovation.

Otra iniciativa ha sido la alemana Afilii con una selección muy interesante de buen diseño (si no el mejor)  para niños.

Another german initiative has been Afilii with another very interesting product selection of good (if not the best) design for children.

Premios Innovación en Juguetes en la feria de Nuremberg. Innovation Toy Awards in Nuremberg Toy Fair.

15 candidatos de la Feria del Juguete esperan el ToyAward 2013. 

La entrega del premio ToyAward de la Feria del Juguete se ha disputado entre las 227 empresas que han presentado en total 380 productos (2012: 371). Las cifras muestran que el interés de las empresas por el ToyAward ha crecido en comparación con el año anterior (179 participantes). Un jurado especializado de representantes de comercio, pedagogos sociales y de juego ha nominado 15 novedades innovadoras en cinco categorías en total. Así, en cada categoría se presentan tres novedades de juguetes. El premio se anunció en la ceremonia de apertura de la Feria del Juguete International Toy Fair Nürnberg. Los criterios que ha manejado el jurado han sido el placer de juego, la creatividad, la seguridad, el material y la comprensibilidad. Los productos galardonados tendrán entonces la posibilidad de ser votados por el público especializado. Entre el 30.01. y el 04.02.2013, los visitantes podrán estudiar los cinco productos ganadores en el InnovationCenter en el pabellón 4 y elegir su favorito pasando su tarjeta de entrada por el escáner. El ganador principal, el ToyAward Traders’Favourite, recibirá para la comercialización de su producto un premio de 20.000 euros. El ganador se dará a conocer en la conferencia final de prensa de la Spielwarenmesse eG el lunes, 04.02.2013. Fueron nominados los siguientes productos para el ToyAward 2013 en cinco categorías:

15 new products at the International Toy Fair are candidates to win the ToyAward 2013

In the tenth presentation of the ToyAward at the International Toy Fair entered 227 companies with a total of 380 products (2012: 371) before the fair. The figures show that the companies’ interest in the ToyAward has increased again over the previous year (179 participants). A jury of experts comprising trade representatives and social and play educationalists nominated 15 innovative new products at the fair in the altogether five categories. This means three new toys or games per category take their marks.

The winner was announced at the opening ceremony of the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair Nürnberg on 29.1.2013, when the product that has convinced the jury with its play fun, creativity, safety, material, and ease of understanding for each category.
The award-winning products then have the opportunity to play for the hearts of the professional audience. The five winning products will be on display in the InnovationCenter in hall 4 from 30.1 to 4.2.2013, where visitors can examine them and choose their personal favourite by scanning their entrance ticket. The main winner, the ToyAward Traders’Favourite, receives prize money of 20,000 euros for marketing his product. The winner will be announced at the closing press conference of Spielwarenmesse eG on Monday, 4.2.2013.The following products have been nominated for the ToyAward 2013 in five categories:
